It’s so cool when a reviewer “gets” your book. Tobias Carroll understands the vibe of Arrhythmias in Words Without Borders (November 10, 2022) . What freaks me out is that I said that Angelina Muñiz-Huberman’s essays were Herzogian months ago so maybe there’s something to this theory. “There’s a dreamlike and meditative quality to many of the short works collected here, including one that calls to mind filmmaker Werner Herzog’s notion of ‘ecstatic truth‘.”
